Gear - Kenda Kinetic 2.6

These tires were designed with a wet terrain XC pattern for digging in over mud and rock. With the 2.5/2.6 width, you get more DH FR traction, when you need it on the wheelie drop off the mossy rock or log.  These are not the fastest rollers, so pavement and hard pack riders forget 'em. The tread is much more aggressive than the Nevegal and less likely to clog in mud. They will stick to rocks, roots and roll easier over the big stuff.

But if you're riding in slick autmn leaves, mud, wet rock and roots, you're fast rolling tired buddies will be left slipping and washing out up trail.

I call them 2.5/2.6 because Kendas are notoriously narrower than they lay claim to. They fit my Banshee Chap rear which is specd for a 2.5
and my Jamis XLT3 rear no problem. The front on my Marz shocks is not a concern. But make sure a 2.5 fits your setup first.

They are folding Kevlar light and fast. They are super sticky and wide for hot wet action in the Fall season woods. Great tire for Westwoods.
